Ovum are an Oregon based winery run by husband and wife winemakers John and Ksenija House who specialise in expressing Riesling and Gewurztraminer of the area to its full potential, utilising the Pacific winds that channel through the Elkton region. 

Big Salt is named after a barrel used within the winery that everyone referred to as 'Big Salty' - but it is also expressive of the area's influence on this wine, lending a complexity and salinity that balances out the aromatic aromas and flavours of Gewurztraminer and Riesling. It's the perfect accompaniment to a spicy dish, or to bring along with you for a day on the beach.
